Hunting Frogs

There are tons of frogs here in South Carolina. My first night here we went to take Max for a walk and we saw FROGS everywhere! So tonight we went out with Max, The Master Hunter. Aidan, The Master Catcher. And Abby, the Master Squealer!! They had a blast chasing the frogs and catching them.

A Great American Beauty

We live pretty close to Niagara Falls and were able to go see it this weekend! It was amazing. I can't believe how big it is. We rode the Maid of the Mist boat right up to the base of the falls. We also walked up the trail to the base of the American Falls. I wish we could have spent more time there!!

SOLD!!!

We are closing this week on our NEW house in Logan. We still hadn't heard much on our house in Syracuse (not a single showing for 3 weeks). Then last Tuesday we had a showing. Within an hour of seeing the house, the couple made an offer! We are now under contract with them and things are running smoothly!!!!

We should be closing in a couple of weeks and get to move into the NEW house!!! I still can't believe how well things came together for us. I was getting nervous and didn't realize how stressed I was until I look back. We are so grateful that it has all worked out the way we hoped!

I am also excited to be in Utah for a week. It will be the same week my brother and his family are in town. I will get to see Cam's sister and her family. And it falls on the same week as my Dad's birthday! It will definitely be a busy week!!

Creepy Crawly...

This slithering critter blocked me from getting into my apartment tonight. When you would get close he would start to coil and hiss!!! Since all the boys were still out working, I went and got a neighbor. He came and moved it with their broom! He threw it out in the back, but now I don't dare take Max out to go potty any more! YUCK!!

Take Me Out to the Ball Game

We went to our first Major League Baseball game. The Pittsburgh Pirates are a hit and miss team, but they won!! Our tickets were on the sunny side and it was HOT! It was fun to cheer on the team and see all the crazy fans.

There are really beautiful sunsets here. We didn't even plan to get up to the look out point when the sun was setting, but it was perfect timing!

Oh Hi, Ohio!

This week I was able to drive to Columbus, Ohio. My cousin Candace lives there, and it is also where the closest temple is. I drove down in the morning and spent the afternoon with my cousin. We ate at this yummy Italian restaurant and then went to the temple! Since we have been back on the East coast the last few summers, I have been able to see Candace once or twice each summer!


For Cinco de Mayo, a group of us went out to eat at Moe's. It is similar to a Cafe Rio or Bajio. McKinley was LOVING the guacamole, and anything else she could dip her food into!

I also got my chip platter that I painted while in South Carolina! So, naturally, I had some chips and salsa on Cinco de Mayo too!
