Maui 2010

Before we came home to our disasterous basement, we were able to have a great time in Hawaii. It was a very relaxing vacation with lots of pool and beach time!

Christmas Traditions...

Camron and I don't have too many Christmas traditions so far....

I am just hoping what we did this year on Christmas Eve doesn't become a tradition.

We completely gutted our basement

We worked from about 8am to Midnight.

Not a Tradition I want to start!!

On a positive note, We were able to spend a week in Paradise before all this happened. I will try to post more on that later!

And, Despite being exhausted, we were able to have a some what normal Christmas morning!

Bad News...

I have three little words that I am going to try not let ruin my Christmas....

OUR BASEMENT FLOODED...

I think that pretty much explains it.

Flyin High

For my Birthday Cam and I went to the I Fly in Ogden. I have been before, but it was Cam's first time. We had a blast trying to figure out how to fly!

Then we met up with my parents in SLC and went to dinner at the Log Haven. Cam had an Elk NY Strip steak and my dad had some Bison Flank Steak. My mom and I stuck with regular beef steaks. Another great Birthday and Another year older!

Here's some video. Sorry, the first one is sideways...and the wind is really loud!

Sew What??

So....
I have been a terrible blogger lately. To be honest, I haven't taken too many pictures, and so I don't post. (I am not a very elaborate writer, and don't have much to say without pics)

Soo.........
You may ask what we have been doing lately?

SEWING!!

Sooo.........
I have spent way too much time on this bad boy. Luckily I have my own sewing room now and can leave it as messy as I want. That means when I stop working for the day, I leave everything where I can find it!! Love IT!!

Soooo.............
Here are some of my projects of late. If you notice in the photo all the fabric on spools?? (Over 40 yards). SO what would I do with 40 yards of fabric?

Make Drapes of course!!

Here are the ones I finished tonight. They are for our family room.

I made these ones a couple of weeks ago. This is our Master Bedroom. ( I am slowly getting more things hung up.)

SOOOOOOO..................
I have also been working on this cute thing. I have two more to make for some adorable little girls. Is that bad that I want one in my size to snuggle in?

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.......................
Here are a few random things I never blogged about this month

Cam Blowing fog/smoke from the dry ice we used in HOME MADE root beer at Halloween (thanks Jess and Mike)

My Mom and I went to an awesome Charity Dinner for the Davis Arts Council. Kimberly Lock performed and there was delicious food.

And of course, capturing the first snow of the year in Logan.

Afternoon Hike

Yesterday Camron and I went for a hike up the canyon to the wind caves. Max came with us and provided lots of entertainment! He would start to get tired, and then see a rodent, and he would get a second wind. When we got to the top we sat in one of the caves and ate some snacks. There is still some trees with color leaves, it was such a beautiful hike!
