Renovation Project: Step 1

So after over a year of planning it... I finally got the motivation to take on the renovation project on my entry way!! It will take 4-5 days to complete it all, but here is what I got done on the first day.

Now I have to let this dry, sand it a bit, and then move on to the next step!

A huge earthquake struck Chile early this morning. The epicenter was right in the middle of Camron's mission. I have already seen pictures of buildings we saw intact just a few months ago that are now destroyed. Camron knows and loves many of these people. We hope that they are all safe and are able to get the supplies/necessities that they need. Please keep a prayer in your heart for the people who have lost so much!

NW Trek

I went to Seattle this week to see my brother's family and my NEWEST little niece! She is adorable and we will miss not being able to see her all summer! On Monday the kids didn't have school and we went to a place called NW Trek. They have animals that are native to the Washington area. They are mostly in a free roam setting. Once I got home I realized I didn't ever get a picture of the new baby!! :(

Cabin Fever

We went to a cabin this weekend with Cam's work. "Cabin" wasn't a very accurate description...the place was more like a LODGE. It slept at least 50-70 people, had a small basketball court, and an indoor pool. I am horrible at taking pictures at things like this...but here are a few I managed to get.

Blessing from Heaven

My friend asked me to help make a blessing dress for her sweet new born. Today I finished the dress and just think it is adorable!! How could something so tiny not be cute??

New Temple for Utah

I can't believe they are building ANOTHER Utah temple. It is quite amazing. I once heard that they decide where to build the new temples based on where the most temple attendance is. A once famous saying from a movie said...If you build it they will come... but for the temple's sake

If you come, they will build them!!
