DWTS Report

Both my mom and I made it into LA with no problems. On Tuesday we went to the pool early that morning to pass some time. After we got ready we headed toward the CBS Studio. When we got there, only 40 people were ahead of us in line. We were pretty certain we were going to make it in! We got in line just before 1:00 and stood in the heat (95*) for a little over 2 hours. But it wasn't that bad....Especially when.....

Gilles Marini got out of his car and had cases of water for all of us standing out in line! He was very personable and let everyone hug him and get photos with him. We had been obedient though and had left our cameras and phones in the car :(

After a few minutes, Tony Dovolani got out of his car and came to greet us as well!! This time a nice gal offered to take a picture of me and another girl with her phone! So we got a picture with him!

We also saw Steve Wozniak. Enough said...;)

The entire show was amazing! It was packed with awesome performances. If you follow the show you know what we saw!! We had great seats as well. We were in the front row of the balcony, straight across from the judges. We weren't really on TV, But we could see almost everything! (Some seats you can't see much).

WE LOVED IT!!!

I am so glad my mom could come with me. We had a blast!

Live From Hollywood!!!

Live From Hollywood!! This is Dancing With the Stars!!!


This is where I will be on Tuesday of next week...Yes Me!! I am so excited! I have had my name on the wait list for almost a year. Then last night I got notified that they had open tickets for Tuesday's Results Show. My mom is meeting me in LA and we are going!!! What a great advendture!!

Dilemma

Every other summer our apartments have had some kind of built in desk to put our computer and all of our crap on. However, this summer, no such luck. After trying to cram everything on the end table for a week...Cam sent me to get a desk. And of course I am the queen of cheap furniture. So here is how we solved our dilemma....

Cherry Blossoms and Tulips

I have always wanted to see the Cherry Blossoms in Washington DC, the problem is, they are only out for a short time and I always seem to miss them. Well this year we made a trip down to see some. I wish we could have seen more, but we could only walk so far!!! As a bonus, there were these beautiful tulips as well!!! What a beautiful country we live in.


Oh and of course, Max enjoyed the squirrels...

Big City Life

We made it to DC and this summer we will definitely be living the city life!!! But first Max was a real trooper on the plane ride....He had to stay in his little bag from the time we got in the airport until we landed in Baltimore. I brought lots of treats and would feed him through the top!

Cam kept working from the time we got to the airport, until we left the gate...we even had to find a place for him to plug in.

This is our spectacular view from our "balcony" (a foot of walking space about ten feet long!!). It is just the right size for Max to people watch. Max has already found his favorite places. We live in this apartment complex that is on a town center. There are all sorts of shops, boutiques and restaurants beneath us. We are also only a few minute walk from the Metro. Hopefully it is a great summer!!
