Sweet Moment

As I have shared before, I don't get too many moments like this from April to August. And it seems that when we do, we hardly take photos.

We had a relaxing evening with friends and were able to go to a small pond. The boys fished, the girls relaxed on the dock, and we got to finish the evening with a surprise firework display right over the pond!

I love moments like this, especially during the summer!!

Sacred Grove

My favorite part of visiting Palmyra, was going to the
Sacred Grove.
I don't think words can describe the feelings inside this special place. It is amazing how you can hear about a simple place all growing up, and then finally be able to see it for your self!! It was beautiful inside. Once we entered the trees, there was a completely different feel that encompasses you. When we left the trees, you could also feel a change. My spirit was definitely touched while in the Sacred Grove.

Palmyra Temple

We were fortunate enough to be able to attend the Palmyra Temple on our girls outing! It is a beautiful building. The windows are stained glass that look like the trees in the Sacred Grove. In the Lobby of the Temple, you can look out a clear window and overlook the Sacred Grove. I have missed having a temple close to us!! It was so nice to go!!

Moving Day!!!

I flew back to Utah to make the big move! I landed at 4:30 pm in Utah and my mom and I went straight to the house to start packing. The next day we went and picked up the moving truck. With a big Thanks to my parents, Cam's parents, My brother's family, and Cam's sister's family; we were able to have everything loaded by 3:00 pm!!!

I realized one thing....

Cam and I have A LOT of JUNK!!

It took:

1 26 foot Moving Truck

2 Dodge Rams packed to the brim

1 Back seat of a Honda

and 2 flat bed trailers (I never got a picture of the one with the snowmobiles)

Luckily we arrived at the new house and unpacked in the evening when more people could come help!!

Overall, the move went smoothly and we escaped with only a few dings. Again I am SOO grateful for generous family that helped that week!!

Fun and Fireworks!!

For the Fourth of July, the boys got off early the Saturday before. We went to the ball game to watch our friend pitch for the Pirates! We sat behind home plate and had a great view of the city! DJ got to pitch and did really well (even though they lost the game). Then after the game they had fireworks with patriotic songs playing. I ended up going to fireworks three other times, but these are the only ones I had my camera for.

Catching Up

I have been traveling for the past 4 weeks and haven't really had time for any updates!! After South Carolina, I came back to PA and celebrated Cam's B-day. Then I went to girls camp the rest of the week. We celebrated the fourth here in PA, then the next morning I flew out to UT for the big move!! The day after I got back we took a girls trip up to Palmyra NY!! So for starters...

Cam celebrated another Birthday!! Basically it was a regular day. I went and picked him up an hour early and we went to dinner.

Happy Birthday Cam!!
