3rd Stop... TALCA and Siete Tazas
For our third stop we drove to Talca, Chile. It is about 3 hours south of Santiago. The drive was so beautiful. We got to our hotel late and had a nice dinner for my birthday. Camron even got the waiter to sing to me! The next morning we woke up and went to Siete Tazas. It is up in the mountains and there are some beautiful waterfalls. One you could only see from far away, but the others ones you could hike right down to them. The Siete Tazas or "seven cups", is a series of falls that poor in to seven big pools. One our hike into them I almost grabbed a furry little friend. There was a tarantula right where I was going to put my hand! I freaked out and ran about 30 feet up the trail!

2nd Stop... Santiago
Santiago was next on our route
We got in late and got to our hotel. The next day was my birthday! We were able to go to the Santiago Temple. It was so beautiful. When we got robbed, I realized that I hadn't brought my temple recommend. We had to call the bishop back at home so that I could get in. Once we were in the session, Camron realized there were some people from one of his areas in the same session! He was able to visit with them and then we went to the ward they attend later in the week. We only spent one day in Santiago, so we don't have too many pics there.
It was a national holiday, so the only restaurant we could find open was a Chinese restaurant!

First of Many....VALPARAISO, CHILE
First stop: Valparaiso, Chile

I warned you there would be a blogging overload when we got home...and so here it begins! When we got into Santiago, we got our rental car and headed to our first destination, Valparaiso. It is a beach town and very pretty. The city is built on a hill and the roads are very steep. When we looked at the map, the roads all look like curly fries from Arbys...so no wonder it took us over an hour to find our hotel once we got to the city (the one way roads didn't help much either!)
On our second day, we headed to the beach. It was warm enough to lay out, but the water was freezing!! I wanted to get in a swim so bad...but I could barely put my toes in!!! It was colder than Bear Lake in May!! We left the beach, drove around the city for awhile, and went to dinner. The rental car we had was pretty cheap. The ONLY way to get into the trunk was with the key (you couldn't even put the back seats down to get into the trunk. So, us being the stupid travelers we are stuck our back pack in the trunk. When we came out from dinner less than an hour later, everything was gone, EXCEPT our passports! Luckily, whoever took our bag left them on the passenger seat of the car for us! They stole: 2 Ipods, my Iphone, watch, clothes, travel documents my debit cards (and used them 3 times for over $300 dollars), medicine, my drivers license...and so on! Luckily we had travel insurance that will cover the items stolen! Needless to say...we thought that would be the worst thing to happen on the trip!!

Feliz Navidad from Chile!!
Hola!! Cam and I are having a great time here in Chile!! We actually had to buy a new memory card because we already filled the one in our camera...so beware...when I get home there maybe an overload of photos on my blog!!
We have had a TON of adventures and I will share them with our pictures...But one of the less, shall I say "fun" adventures included getting robbed. In the stuff that got stolen was my phone!!! :( Needless to say I hadn´t synced my phone with our computer yet and lost ALL my contacts!! So if you would like me to have your phone number again, either leave it in a comment, email me at stacy.hanna@yahoo.com, or send me a txt some time after Sunday...(I have to get home and get a new phone first). I should be able to keep the same number...but if for any reason is changes I will let you know!
Stay tuned for AMAZING pics from CHILE!!!

Thanksgiving Roadtrip
This year for Thanksgiving we took a roadtrip to Seattle Washington to see my brother! Four years ago Cam and I were able to go to Seattle for Thanksgiving when his sister lived there. It was fun to go back together!! We drove up with my parents which made less driving time for us (thanks mom and dad!!)
We were able to go to the school and watch my nephew in a Thanksgiving play. We saw my brother's new house.
The girls helped make pies

The dogs didn't even need turkey to be sleepy, and neither did Grandma!!

On Friday the skies were blue and we had a good view of Mt. Rainier and the Tacoma Narrows Bridge

On the way home we saw the new Columbia River Temple

And Max and Cam were good travelers!!

Ultimate Throwdown Experience
Cam got tickets to the throwdown fight for last night. Thanks to his boss, we got great seats. We were on the second row just behind where the judges and coaches sit. Basically, you could smell and see the sweat. We were also sitting a few sections over from Kyle Korver and Darren Williams from the JAZZ. They must like the fights, cuz they have been to all the fights we have been to.
Most of the fights were pretty long. We only saw one tap out, until the main event. That was the most exciting fight. It ended with a flash knock out in the first round. Cam was way excited, and sitting that close you could see the guys eyes roll back into his head.
Here's the knock out.
Warning: don't watch if you have a weak stomache...

Up for Grabs
Cam and I have had verizon services since we have been married. However, his work required all managers to get an Iphone...and since At&t is the only provider...we had to make the switch. The bummer is I had just gotten a phone last march and it is still pretty nice. I have asked a few people and most people either just got a new phone/ or don't have verizon.
SO....I am advertising my phone as a give away. It won't be useful to me anymore. It is a LG Dare compatible with Verizon. It is touch screen and has internet and navigator capabilities. If you or someone you know is in need of a phone, please let me know. I would rather give it to some one I know than just donate it to a place. You can call, txt, or leave a comment if you are interested!!

Livin Lucky!!
Sorry this is a long one!!! But well worth the read!!
Last Thursday I got tickets to go to the Dancing with the Stars Results show for this week!! I got the tickets hoping Camron would want to come with me. Taylor Swift was the guest performer and I was way excited...Although, Camron didn't share my enthusiasm. So, me Megan and Kacie went instead!! Let's just say it was a good thing we brought Megan...She was projecting luck from every bit of herself!
We got to LA and were Lucky enough to get an early check in at our hotel (other wise we would have had to get ready at the airport!!!) Then we got to DWTS and got a great place in line. Megan kept saying how she was feeling lucky. Last time my mom and I went, a few stars came out to greet us while we were in line. However, this time we hadn't seen any.
We finally got to go in towards the studio and there was a major security check. They took phones, cameras and ipods from everyone!! Once we were all past the security check the let us know we were going to see TWO PERFORMANCES!!!! They were doing a pre taping for a future show. The star we would get to see couldn't perform on the scheduled night, so she was performing that day!!! So we already new we were seeing TAYLOR SWIFT....and then we also got to see ALICIA KEYS!!!! Lucky moment #2!!
Now on to Lucky Moment #3......
When they were bringing the groups in to seat everyone, they take rows at a time. We were the last three people in our row. As we got in to the ballroom, a worker stopped us and told us to wait there... (all the other people were headed up to the balcony where non VIP people sit. After the rest of our line was out of sight, the lady told us we got to sit down on the FRONT ROW!!!!! If all the VIPs dont show up they us people like us to fill the seats down on the floor, and we were the lucky ones to be on the front!!!
I will sum up the rest of the night's luck in quick phrases.....
Front row to Alicia Keys and dancers...
Front row to Taylor Swift and performers....
Kacie caught pic from back up guitarist....
Met and shook MAXSIM CHMERKOVSKIY'S hand!!!!!!!! (he is my all time fav)...
Spoke with and shook hand's with Donny Osmond, Tom Bergeron, Samantha Harris...
Watched Bruno spill his redbull during a commercial, and laugh with him once he noticed we saw him spill...
Gave Michael Irvin thumbs up while he was in the "center ring"...
Appear on TV for brief moments!!!! (if you often watch we were on the right of the judges booth, front row. You can see Megan when Tom and Samantha are talking and you can see both of us a couple of times!!!!!!!!!
That was the end of our luck. We went to the Price Is Right the next day and our luck had dried all up!! We had a great time any way and here are some pics of our adventure!

Fun with the Fam
This weekend while Cam and my Dad went deer hunting, my mom and I headed down to southern Utah to meet up with my sister. She wanted someone to drive home with her because her husband had to stay in Vegas for a training.
Saturday we went swimming with the kids, shopping at the outlets, and then to the Tuachan play Aida. We also went to lunch on Saturday at the Brick Oven. When we left the restaurant we noticed on the receipt that our sweet waiter even gave my mom her first Senior discount!! (She's still got a few years until she qualifies!!)

Sunday we drove down to Arizona. We got stuck in some traffic where they are building the new bridge over Hoover Dam. The bridge is amazing and the pictures don't even do it justice!! Then we witnessed a beautiful desert sunset.

Once we got to her house I was able to relax, spend time with her and her kids, and enjoy the 93 degree weather! I also found the time to read Richard Paul Evan's latest book. It was a good read and definitely a tear jerker.

And then of course, my breath taking sunset when I flew out of arizona!!

Our City Bird
Many of you have heard that there is a city bird for our town...The dreaded Mosquito. It is joked that these nasty creatures can become the size of small birds on our city :( Today I was pulling my hair up in a pony tail and brushed my neck...it sorta itched. I assumed it was from my hair brushing on my neck as I pulled it up. Then I noticed a gigantic one of these on our bathroom counter (warning...may be graphic for the unfamiliar...)

The one in my bathroom looked slightly more swollen with blood. So swollen in fact, that it couldn't even get its fat belly off the counter to fly away when Cam tried to kill it. Cam successfully smashed it. When he did, blood squirted all over. The tissue he used was covered in blood. We thought...which one of us did it just feed off of. Cam was checking his legs when I remembered the itch on my neck. Sure enough...I looked in the mirror and saw the nasty welt. It was already the size of a dime!!! So if you see me in the next few days...NO - It is NOT a HICKY...It is a MOSQUITO BITE .... GRRR!!
